It's always been a bit of a vice for me, too, but I wouldn't say it's all that bad! I think you've got the basic shape down for the body - his left arm is a bit too thin from my viewpoint, and perhaps a bit too high up? But I think the lines and outline are solid besides that. I think you did quite well, honestly!
